About

I started painting a few years ago, almost by accident. What began as a casual experiment quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Painting brings me into a flow state where time disappears, stress fades and I can fully immerse myself in colors and textures.

I now work across a wide range of sizes, from intimate 15 x 15 cm pieces to large-scale canvases measuring up to 2 x 1 metres. Moving between these scales allows me to explore different rhythms and energies within the same practice. I especially love working on thick-edged canvases, letting the painting wrap around the sides. It gives the piece a sculptural presence, perfect for hanging without a frame.

Though the process can be frustrating (most paintings go through an “ugly phase”) there’s always that magical moment near the end when it all comes together. That’s what keeps me coming back: the quiet satisfaction of seeing something emerge that didn’t exist before.
